July 2024 US Consumer Webinar Summary
Meet Numerator's Chief Economist
Leo Feler, Ph.D.
As Chief Economist at Numerator, Dr. Leo Feler directs Numerator’s economic research and regularly briefs c-suite executives of Fortune 500 companies on the state of the US economy and its impact on consumers. Dr. Feler’s research focuses on understanding how consumers react to changing economic conditions, how consumers perceive the economy, and how their perceptions often differ from reality, using Numerator’s representative panel of 150,000 US households to track what consumers say and do in real-time.
In addition to his role at Numerator, Dr. Feler is a Visiting Economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago where he works with a team of economists to nowcast retail sales and inflation using Numerator data. He is featured regularly in popular media such as The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, and CBS News, and also provides CPG and retail insights to the financial services industry through a quarterly webinar series with RBC’s Nik Modi.
